What most poeple don't realise is the fact, that this outage would not have happened if they had spend some more money on their power grid. Most countries have a star formed powergrid. If they had invested in a ring-grid, this outage would not have been possible the way this went down. very few countries have a ring-net, as it is significantly more expensive to establish. But in the long term, this provides a far more stable and resilient grid. Permitted frequency fluctuations in Germany (ring-grid) sit at +- 180mHz and may briefly go up +-200mHz They don't need nukes (powerplants) but several GWh of battery buffers. (and a ring-grid ;-) )

They are more trustworthy than any of their American counterparts. As it stands right now, the US Government is about as trustworthy as North Korea. Working for a financial institution that prides itself to be ethical (yes I know, "ethical financial institution" is an oximoron, but I would dare say, they are one of the lesser bad ones), many currently state, that invrestment in "near US government" businesses are not to be considered ethical. While it's obviously not official, but speaking to various people, this is definitely being put across. It is sad, that a nation that used to be amazing and open to the world has been permitted to be run into the ground, ethically, morally, and the way things are going, financially too. One can only hope, that the coming civil war in the US, will not suffer as many casualties as WW II. When it comes to freedom of speach the Chinese still have a long way to go. At the same time, we have to acknowledge that it is far more difficult to look at the individual when dealing with 1.4billion people. When I look at Donald trump, I always see Germany in the late 1930s If you look at history, the similiarites of Goebles and Hitler to Vance and Trum are frightening. The difference is: Hitler chose the (predominantly) Jews, where as Trump targets (predominatly) the Hispanics (and Arabs). And in regards to the robotaxis: The chinese will most probably overtake the American version sooner rather than later. the Chinese have understood how important it is to throw money at R&D. Trump is only interested in himself, power, and money (in this sequence). He does not care about law, about others (except as long as they do what benefits him). Being a Kraut and sadly having 3rd Reich ancestry, I am very familiar with German history and have studied it in great detail. When looking at Trump and Vance, and comparing it to German history, I personally see frightening similiarities. I would even go as far as calling the pair as Hitler and Goebbels 2.0. Goebbels Hitlers bootlicker, and contrary to comon belief Adolf did not come to govern through a coup d'etat but through elections very similiar as they happened recently in the US. Adolf and Goebbels claimed the most stunning lies. Adolf claimed that the world was against them and that the Jews were guilty of all sorts and conspiring with the world against Germany. In my own personal and humble oppinion, (and I so so hope that I am wrong) he will be the cause/trigger of a civil war in the US and potentially World War 3. Additionally, while I do not have any proof, I personally believe (my own personal oppinion) that trump has a lot of dirt on many members of the republican party. I cannot imagine that they are so stupid to support him with a clear conscience and/or voluntarily. Besides him being an egoncentric sociopath, he is poorly educated (at least when it comes to general knowledge, history, geography and most of all maths). Finally the fact that Adolf 2.0 is already trying to ey with a third term should wake all alarm bells. Even though I am generally against weapons, if I were an American citizen, I would gradually build up a stash for WW3. Call me paranoid, sadly history keeps on repeating itself, particularly when it comes to the stupidety of the people. What is so sad, that the (or at least many) American people are allowing Trump to turn this amazing country into a global laughing stock. People (not only politicians) all over the world consider the US as untrustworthy. For me, being a German and remebering what the US has done for Germany after WW3 with the Marshal plan, it breaks my heart to see what this man is doing to what used to be a great nation.

Very few ATMs are actually equipped with paint packs, gas alarms or fog systems. even worse, you go to an ATM that is not from your own bank, you ca nget charged up to €10,- for a withdrawel (I am talking about debit cards not credit cards). The ATMS are relatively easy to get access to and typically filled with butane or propane gas, sealed with tape and then ignited. often the explosion causes damage close to building collpse. The gangs are rarely from Germany, They come with high powered cars, grap as much cash as possible, ideally an intact casette jump in the car and race across a nearby boarder. Typically they are three: 1. driver (often very well trained for highspeed) 2. lookout, making sure they are in the clear and keeping an eye on surroundings. this one ususally also knows the escape route and alternative route 3. the actor: this one usually goes in by himself occasionally with a trainee. Those gpeople are well organised and even have training facilities to test/check. the big explosions that cause so much damage are usually executed by trainees. But again. This is not becasue the Germans like their cash, but becasue most banks are so cheap, they rarely have protective measures in place. Only recently (end 2023) some banks have started protecting against blasting. And there are tow reasons for that: - Insurance premiums are going through the roof - because often buildings that conatin apartments and living space are affected, public oppinioin is getting the better of them Apart from that, there have been calls for the banks to cover expenses for repair and even rebuilding if need be, if the ATM didn't have adequate protection. So please, get the facts straight. has nothing to do with cash-prefference being the main cause.... Just the stupidety of the beancounters within the banks....
