It's my wife's birthday next week and I was thinking of getting her a new PC game. She likes the puzzle solving, walking around looking at pretty things, figuring stuff out, sort of games. Like Myst or Nine.
I only play instant gratification shoot'em up or sports games so I have no idea what's good or not in "her" genre. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Neither Tropico nor Roller Coaster Tycoon provide the interactive dilemmas that Sim City does. They are just "builders" - build your island / park, manage your resources.
