Its not that its "New", its that it is dangerous. Its dangerous because results can be and sometimes are wrong. I suppose it can be fixed / improved, but I am not a beta tester. In fact the idiots are the ones who invested in the promise of future improvement without any safeguards and an AGI would be good, would be controlled by governments and mega corps so is vulnerable to their whims. If you don't believe everything you read on the Internet, what makes you think that AI would be better? It sucked up all the PC tech I love and made it increase in price while the mega corps hype that crap right up. A solution to this was a suggestion to move gaming to the cloud, which I don't want and wont do. It has infected my PC with AI additions I neither asked for nor want (although using it for generating memes is fun). Asking if I want it is one thing, its another to have it on everything from notepad to the OS itself. I certainly wont be using it regularly because I don't don't have a use for it. Its quite 'clever' but that's it. I am not a luddite, I just don't want AI.

I think people have to take other browsers apart from Edge into account too. Take Chrome, which hasn't been mentioned at all in the summary, that browser is plugged again and again on Google services to the point you feel obligated to install it. I do usually have multiple browsers installed anyway in case of a problem which would affect my browser. I personally have gone back to Firefox as I just prefer it over other options, my PC is fast enough to render at a speed that I don't notice the difference between browsers. Edge only comes up if I start an 'app' from the start menu and it is quickly discarded back where it came from once the job is done.
