LordBodak's Journal: Airsoft

Anybody tried this stuff? My roommate ordered some ammunition and the place offered a free Airsoft pistol with any order over $75... we forgot all about it until it arrived.

Fun little things... the pistol is pretty cheap but it's sort of intrigued us. I ordered a decent spring pistol which will arrive tomorrow, but now I'm really looking into these AEGs (automatic electric guns). They're ~$250 but look like a lot of fun.

Airsoft

There is a Glock Airsoft pistol that is switchable between semi and full auto. It's pretty neat, and only costs around $35.

Your right in that the gas blow back is the best, and is the one that is swichable from semi to full auto. I was thinking about the spring type which can be purchased for $25. See here [yahoo.com]

heathens that says paintball is better. a huge yellow spot on your clothes keeps people honest about being out.

I always thought paintball guns just looked odd-- one of the things I like about Airsoft is they are accurate representations of real guns.

Plus, with an electric, no gas to pay for and cheaper ammunition.
