There's no way to disprove the hypothesis that "the fittest species survive with higher frequency in the next generation". Nor an ante hoc way to calculate fitness, etc. etc. etc.
Real Programmers don't write in PL/I. PL/I is for programmers who can't decide whether to write in COBOL or FORTRAN.
