Give the people an affordable options and they wont pirate stuff that much.... People are not trying not to pay for stuff... they want it to be affordable thats all.

Everyone is talking about the climate changes but those big companies/government/organisation still make face to face meeting which is a collosal waste of time and money and polute like crazy... What a waste to pay those fat cat to waste 12hours in a flight only to meet face to face... its counter productive and wasteful it should be like that for most everything.

NASA has a goal of knowledge and science as the voting machine had a capitalist goal.. they wanted to make money. NASA had the goal to bring back those they send in space, the voting machine... to make the cheapest software to make the most money... And I can continue on like that for a long time.. but you get it... As long as money is the goal... quality will never be there.

I dont think its bullshit but I agree to the fact that Lootboxes dont cause kids to gamble... they cause people with gambling problem to fall into their problem and thats not bullshit for some people its a real issue. I dont suffer from gambling... I dont gamble I dont like it... But I can tell you im a collector... when I start something... I try to finish it completely... and I can tell you those damn achievements can be a nightmare for people like me... I had to give up some game genres because they were too bad for my addiction. The point is not the duration of the record but the duration of the software storing it... I doubt japaneese bank will still use software thats a 100y old when 2080 happens... So yeah 2 char was enough to patch the problem... but using software that still run on windows 3.1 might not be such a good idea...

It was my first job as an intern in a state government office to patch up old software for Y2K. But when I did... I got the database, made a seach for the oldest year on record and used that to determine the window... And for most of them 1980 was the oldest date... (there werent many computers in use pre 1980) So my windows was 80> its 1980 and and 79 its 2000... that made my patch work till 2080... I really hope tho that they will have changed their software by then... But I can't imagine the'll still be using old clipper / DBaseIII / Foxpro database in 60 years... But fixing a problem for 20y is quite dumb...

Thats what they were doing 10 years ago... dont you remember... they took people like you to court and told you you were a pirate and was forced to pay millions of dollards in fine... but that didn't do them any good in the eyes of the public so they stopped. Also people would just go bankrupt and dont give them a penny so its was a collosal waste of time and money for everyone... at least these company have money .. but a billion dollars for a ISP... thats just a bankrupt charge too probably... The problem is the law... copyrights for a song that last 200 yo after the person who recorded it/wrote it is dead is just FUCKING STUPID... its so that big labels/familly members how have not contrinuted to it at all.. get some money... IMHO a copyright should end either 20y after the song was written or when the artist dies.. THATS IT THATS ALL. I mean I do a lot of work in computer science do my kids are going to benefit from it.. no they'll have to work too and contribute... Its not just pay... at some point you feel you cannot grow if you dont change. You need new challenges and you feel you wont have where you are. If it was a question of pay they would have payed him for sure... These are the kind of brains no one want to loose.

They can easily spot recordings... and who`s stupid enough to listen to dog food advert in loop. The phone probably flagged it as " owned by moron who`s only into dog food like crazy. No need for advert he`s already hooked to X brand" Maybe they do it extremely covertly, like only one phone in a thousand or 10 thousand. Maybe its only in the testing phase and its not widely deployed. Doesn`t mean it`s not happening. I have seen (personally at least 2 occurences ) and heard about a whole lot more. And they sound way more convincing than your "research" Maybe they`ve been payed big the big tech to make false results. Who knows.
