I imagine this is a really dumb question but ... How was it that the third problem, one involving deterministic and non-deterministic Turing machines, could be posed in 1900 when Alan Turing wasn't born until 1912 ?

Rob Charlton - General Manager, e-BILL Pty Ltd Rob has worked in the Australian IT&T industry for over 30 years in technical, sales, marketing and general management positions. His career started with the (then) Bank of New South Wales as a trainee actuary. Rob quickly switched to IT where he rose to become the bank's Chief Programmer. Rob joined Hermes Precisa in 1998 as National Manager, Electronic Commerce and has been responsible for the development of HPA's e-Commerce business strategy, the business plan for EBPP and the creation of e-BILL Pty Ltd and the e-BILL service.
