This weekend was rather unproductive. With rain for a solid portion of Saturday, it was difficult to get outside and tend to my flower beds, and as such I got to stay indoors and be a homebody. We never got the promised thunderstorms that were expected, which is a blessing.
I did get out for a walk on Sunday however.
Part of my weekend was spent looking for a new keyboard. I would like to get a Yamaha Clavinova, but I'm finding that few places online will list prices or even mention that they carry the Clavinova line. I found one on eBay, the right model and everything, for about $3,700 - that's probably as good a price as I will find. That said, I am a little hesitant to buy something of that value through an online auction.
So what's wrong with my old keyboard? Nothing. It just doesn't feel like a piano - it feels like an electronic keyboard. The Clavinova is more piano-like in the feel of the keys. I like that.

It has been a while since I bought any keyboard equipment, but when I was into it pretty deep (5-6 years ago), they were really good.
