Democrats don't make things better. This is a generational shift in work culture. And, while ~40% aren't in the "labor force," almost nobody is without a source of income. Lots of people have passive earnings, or are making money outside of what is tracked. And good for them, since almost 40% goes to an overabundance of taxes.

Look up how the carbon footprint came to be. It's such a silly metric, like how many billiard balls your toilet can flush. It's not based on anything scientific, it's just a made-up number that carries no real world significance.

And there's zero proof that storms have gotten more severe ever. Damage caused by storms has gotten more expensive, simply because of inflation and more things being built where storms can damage them, but the storms themselves are no worse than they've ever been.

I hate articles like this so much.

Global warming is beneficial. Longer growing seasons, for one. There are more deaths from cold than heat. This will help.

That PC has already been converted to Linux.

Despite being a Linux fan and desktop/handheld user, there are a handful of apps I happen to spend a lot of time in that are significantly more stable and polished on iOS than Android. That consistency has a lot of value to me, and that's why I bought Apple - or at least why I bought Apple this time. I'm running a 3rd-gen iPad Air, which is definitely showing its age now, and an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I sure hope so!
