When Jobs left, the company didn't sell half the world's mobile phones. It's a lot easier to coast now when Apple already has a massively popular product that continues to sell without needing real changes.
I'd love to agree with you, but nobody plays this game. It seems like everyone else mostly found this game unfun too. It's a shame, I really wanted to like it.

I just upgraded from 9.1 to 9.2 after reading this article. I hate apps that pollute my home with config files rather than putting them in ~/.config. I deleted my ~/.vim* and started vim and it immediately made a new ~/.viminfo, what gives?!
They don't need that access and they don't ask as far as I'm aware. I think they're not asking because they're not using them.
