of the armchair hemorrhoid creators is impressive in this comment section. Blue Origin has indeed made orbit. They have put satellites in orbit. As to why they got the job, they competed and won. They'll be contacting out the actual satellites to a sub vendor. Given the booster requirements, the mission will require more power than Falcon Heavy, but less than Starship. The engineering and economic factors won the contract, not a buch of whiners opinions. And yes, they blew up their pad, as every single rocket providor in history has. The rebuild is ongoing, the cause is known and design modifications have occured. It's called ENGINEERING trolls.

So what do I mean be real maps? USGS terrain maps are real maps. There are cell phone applicationns for them. The bigger issue is knowing how to use them. How to orient them, how to read them, what the symbology means. This is clearly a dieing art. I learned long ago. Military and other outing organizations still teach it. I prefer ANSI E-size USGS maps of the area I'm hiking. A compass, and a USGS terrain map are all I need... besides a good pair of eyes.

Excrement. Look, I've been hearing this since I was a KID! That was 50 years ago. CEOs whine that they can't find people, and turn right around and cut pay and benifits, then bring in foreign workers or illegal aliens to do the job, yet we have people who have STOPPED LOOKING FOR WORK because they can't get a job though they've applied to HUNDREDS of them! They can't even get an interview! Shove it pencle pusher... shove it!

Quite honestly, this is a better arangeme t as government entities love to push their sode of the stopry depending on who's in charge. Granted, any organization can do this, just look at the way the MSM twists perception. Still, while no system is perfect, at least this one can be scrutinized without having to worry about retaliation by a government system.
