Journal GeckoFood's Journal: Big Dummy! 2

Today I award myself the Big Dummy of the Day award. I was working in my yard, trimming trees and hedges, and got a nice brush pile going. My neighbor and I started feeding branches through his mulcher, and I found one that would not fit. No problem - just snip it with the pruning snips and go on... I dropped the stupid things. And I didn't just simply drop them on the ground, they had to gash through my leg first. Several stitches and a tetanus shot later, I am finally back home again. *Sigh* At least it didn't hurt too much, but it bled like crazy.

  • glad to hear ur ok. My stunt was performed exactly one week from today. We were biking up a hill here in Concepción(Chile) when we got to a flat area. 3 friends and I including a 12 year old who visited regularly the plane because it had some ramps to jump. Me im a mountain biker, climbing hills untill my heart pumps lead, but he is small and audacious so he jumped off a ramp very impressively. I decided to revive my 12 year old days of glory(25 old now) and pedaled as fast as i could towards that ramp
  • This one falls under the "machetes are dangerous" category. This would seem obvious, but you'd be amazed how many people, even experienced machete users, get this one wrong.

    Glad you're OK!
