GeckoFood's Journal: Transmission Fluid

Ever notice what happens when a drop of transmission fluid hits wet pavement? You get a rainbow. Red, blue, and purple seem to be the main colors, with some green mixed in for good measure. Someone in the parking lot at lunch was leaking transmission fluid (I had this problem a while back), and they left a series of little technicolor puddles.

Glad it wasn't me [this time].

All oil does that if it's thin enough

I hear it's because oil and water don't mix, but being a modern progressive, I don't buy into that outmoded racist nonsense.

LOL! Well, yeah, it's an oil thing, but my point was that someone out here has a transmission that leaks like a sieve. It just happened that whoever was driving the car with the problem took the same path back past my office complex - I followed the rainbow puddles for over 2 miles. Not cool for them.
