The basic problem here is that putting cameras on the highways makes it much more difficult to do the kind of selective law enforcement our entire system is built from the ground up for.

From tracking Rich people. Everyone uses the highway system including the wealthy. Ordinarily the solution for things like surveillance cameras and red light cameras and speeding cameras is to put them in poor neighborhoods so that they become a defacto tax on anyone living there.

This is necessary and important because if you put them in wealthy neighborhoods people there have time out of their day they can take to organize petitions to get them banned and removed. Poor people can't do that because they're too busy working three jobs to afford a one-bedroom apartment they share with five guys.

If the human race put the kind of effort into science and societal advancement that they put into screwing over the poor we would have faster than light travel by now.

Trump's overall approval rating is still floating around 37% which is roughly where he was at when he started the 2024 campaign. He is sitting on a 400 million dollar War chest on top of the billions of dollars of epstein-class money. He will inundate the public with propaganda and that'll get him back to 45 to 47%. From there just a little bit of voter suppression and he can easily win the third term if his health holds out.

The Democrats have to walk a tight water because their voters want things the Epstein class is violently opposed to and their voters are just as prone to being confused by an overwhelming propaganda blitz. So they have to balance keeping that propaganda blitz from crushing them and their voters being well Americans... With the need to undo the damage that the Republican party continuously is doing to the country because otherwise they will inexplicably be blamed for what the Republicans do.

Honestly it's a minor miracle the Democrat party is managed to hold the country together this long.

There have been studies. Basically the part of their brain responsible for critical reasoning doesn't fire as much while the part of their brain that is responsible for the few response is overactive. Nurture could counteract that with proper education and a good upbringing but the Epstein class knows that and they're going out of their way to make sure that doesn't happen.

I don't know if it's comforting or disturbing that we have been through worse than this but historically speaking we absolutely have. Doesn't mean we will come out on the other side intact but it doesn't mean we won't.

But yeah things are kind of bleak right now. Voters are stupid and bigoted and racist and frightened. Not necessarily all at once.
