Someone once pointed out that hoping a rapist gets raped in prison isn't a victory for his victim(s), because it somehow gives him what he had coming to him, but it's actually a victory for rape and violence. I wish I could remember who said that, because they are right. The score doesn't go Rapist: 1 World: 1. It goes Rape: 2.

What this man did is unspeakable, and he absolutely deserves to spend the rest of his life in prison. If he needs to be kept away from other prisoners as a safety issue, there are ways to do that without keeping him in solitary confinement, which has been shown conclusively to be profoundly cruel and harmful.

Putting him in solitary confinement, as a punitive measure, is not a victory for the good people in the world. It's a victory for inhumane treatment of human beings. This ruling is, in my opinion, very good and very strong for human rights, *precisely* because it was brought by such a despicable and horrible person. It affirms that all of us have basic human rights, even the absolute worst of us on this planet.

He said in the EU, if you are applying for a visa from outside, you are obviously not, within the EU. Granted, he is still sorta wrong, if you have a conviction, it will generally expire on your rep sheet, unless you are applying for anything that requires working with children, security or any such like positions.

Denmark is a good example, they are not to be flown within 150m of any building.

Interestingly enough, this is not a problem for R/C enthusiasts, but drone "operators" seem to think they can do as they damn well choose.

Have had people do low flyover with their drone, no marking, no information on how to get hold of them and they are not flying in line of sight, if that fucker crashes into someone and causes bodily harm, its near impossible to pin responsibility.

Well the positive thing about the EU finally getting involved is they have no trouble dealing out billion dollar fines.

But this goes *way* beyond Amazon. The director of the department where the lady in charge of investigating this (Magrethe Vestager) is the former prime minister of Luxembourg and *might* be deeply involved with the tax evasion.

Some very interesting times ahead, especially for Luxembourg...

As it looks now, most of Miami and big parts of southern Florida will be permanently flooded, yet you guys are still building in the lower areas. Some estimates that a sandy sized storm hitting Florida in the right spot could have the global insurance industry collapsing over night.

Why would we want to keep them around for that contingency? The post you are replying to is correctly stating that we are self sufficient in gas and oil.

Also, if Denmark ever went to war with Russia, we would be wiped off the map in the first few hours as we are a strategic staging point for the US and allies (Basically, everyone where pointing nukes at Denmark during the cold war).

Here in Denmark, they have stopped suing random torrent users, because it is impossible to show that the owner of the connection has in fact done the deed. The only people to have been sued lately are those whom either originally uploaded a torrent (and can be proven to have done so) or people making money of of it.

Now the trial here is going to go to Landsretten, and most likely to HÃjesteret (Supreme court) *and* if Wargs lawyer is any good, it will probably also end up in human rights court; there are so many bad things about it, it is probably the worst case of injustice ever (even if he has in fact done anything wrong).
