Deamos's Journal: XBox Live - Halo 2?

Anyone here play Halo 2 online?

Just looking for someone else to add to my friends list who have some kind of tenuous contact other than names picked of people who play well online. ;)

My closest friends who play Halo 2 come over and get online under my gamer tag so adding them is not possible ... None of them have XBox live accounts. Bah.

Oh yeah, that's helpful.

Halo 2 online is very good. Bungie did a great job with it.

You should consider getting an Xbox live account. Even if you are giving money to the monster.. :)

Then you can go online and get pwn3d all over the place just like I do.

It's only what... $50/year? and you get a headset with it, right? It is mostly the time issue that I have. I'm rarely home and I'm playing single player now. Once I get through that I'm going to start on Metroid Prime 2. Then I still have X-Men Legends that I'm playing too. My fat ass NEEDS to be outside running or something, but I'll do that later.

Yeah $49.99 a year.

I don't even have the headseat thing, I just used the free two month trial that came with Halo 2. That was enough, I'm hooked, my next investment will probably be a headset.

As far as other games, I have the Zelda Classics disc that picked up. The one with the original Zelda on it and stuff still waiting to be played.

But Halo 2 has consumed my soul, at least for now.

It comes with a 2 month free trial? Shit, I knew I should have looked in the box rather than cramming the disc in the drive and tossing it behind the couch! (Ok, so I put it on the shelf with the other games which are in alphabetical order and seperated by console. Yes, I'm anal.)

Yes, that's what that piece of paper/cardboard that says Xbox Live Free 2 Month Trial blah blah blah on it is. :)

As I recall it was on the top of the stack of documentation when you open the Halo 2 package in fact.

Yeah, like I'm going to read a piece of paper when there are pretty pictures on the disc. (Not to mention the holographic "Genuine Xbox" text.) C'mon dude... :-)

It only took me about two months to do so.

and yeah, I fully expect that everyone else in the world read all documentation immediatly. This preceding rule does not apply to me though since I came up with it.
