OK, just for the record, Wasabi is a type of japanese horseradish. It is not a mustard. Just about all wasabi you've ever had is not wasabi. It is regular horseradish mixed with a few other ingredients to make it green and adjust the flavor. I've had real wasabi and it tastes similiar to the fake stuff but not the same. And yes, unlike pepper sauces, wasabi will clear out your sinuses, make your eyes water for a little bit and then leave you alone. It will not haunt your *ss the next day either.
