Cy Guy's Journal: DC AREA Plastic.Com MakeUp MeetUp

Just like last month, the plan is to have the meetup on the regular day - TUESDAY 1/13, but an hour earlier at 7:00 PM.

However, there has been a special request by Leamur67 to NOT have it downtown. Adipic Acid (aka crawling chaos) has sugested Rock Bottom Brewing in Bethesda. Lets vote/discuss that option versus having it at the Brickskeller [1523 22nd St, NW].

Please post here or plastic message me if you plan on going and what your preferred location is.

If any of my slashdot friends/fans want to join us, please do. crawling chaos has been on /. since almost the bits and bytes days and has been to a couple of the regular slashdot meetups as well.

Okay, Leamur says she will attend if its in Bethesda and everyone else has said they'd go to either location so BETHESDA ROCK BOTTOM BREWING it is. I haven't heard from Megalon/Rob yet, but since he both works and lives in Montco, I'm sure it will be fine with him too.

45 minutes late (stuck at work) and when I get there the guy at the front has never heard of chuck or plastic. :(
I asked a waitress, too, but she didn't know. Hung around for another 45 minutes looking lost and bored and watching the Wakeforest/Texas game while I drank a lame lager and an OK brown, tried to talk some girlfriends into rescuing me by joining me, no such luck.
Let me know when you're up for it again, cy guy, and I will try once more. (I'll give you my cell# next time, duh) I feel really
