I'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of my new Rockband guitar to replace my old one which had strum issues. I'm not entirely sure it was necessary, but I kept getting the feeling the downstrum was just a bit off in comparison to the upstrum. I toyed with the idea of fixing it myself but wasn't sure I wanted to take any chances. My mind was made up to get a replacement when I discovered my headset adapter makes a less-than-stellar connection to my guitar a few days ago. Hopefully there will be a nice box waiting for me when I get home from work and I can do a side-by-side comparison on the strum issue to see if it's really "fixed".

Honestly, I don't know why I even continue to bother posting to global warming stories. It's one of those topics on which most everyone has an opinion which is quite firmly established. I could post study data, results of papers, even results of my own models and the response will always be "Your model is wrong, I don't believe it." or "I don't buy it." from someone who has probably never even studied fluid mechanics. Professional courtesy doesn't apply, because apparently I studied a worthless field. Yet I don't seem to go around telling anyone else that clearly everything they learned in school was wrong because I'm an armchair expert who read a few stories about it on the internet. Meh. At least it's easy karma points.
