Off-topic but however... I understand the 2nd amendment, and in principle I agree with you and with it but... It is a bit redundant at this stage...your nation has the the most powerful miltary force this world has ever seen. Ye can destroy cities from thousands of miles away. Ye can watch every movement from space. Ye have thousands and thousands of armoured vehicles, warships and figther planes and bombers. Some believe they ye even have alien technology. It's just not realistic anymore to assume that an armed public could overthrow the american government/military if the need arose...as the Borg would say "Resistance is futile". Ye don't need all the guns that ye have. Overthrowing your government isn't a buyable excuse anymore. And for those whose argument it is that ye need them for personal protection? Stop selling guns, make anything more than a single barrel shotgun illegal and increase the size of your police force. (What in jebus' name does anyone need a Desert Eagle handgun for?? Ye must have really big criminals over there :)) In Ireland, where I live, it would still probably be possible to overthrow our government violently...about 10 men with shotguns and a bottle of whiskey for dutch courage would do the trick. Although I think they have tanks now...:) If that's the case I reckon about 15 men and a armour plated tractor would suffice. :)
