Submission + - N. Korea Detonates Second Nuclear Bomb (

BriggsBU writes: CNN reports that North Korea is claiming a second nuclear test just hours ago.

The confirmation came little more than an hour after the U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 4.7 seismic disturbance at the site of North Korea's first nuclear test in October 2006.

Sounds like the neighborhood troublemakers are looking for attention again.

Submission + - RIAA tries to stop web broadcast of trial (

BriggsBU writes: "The RIAA, in a move everyone expected, has filed an objection to the internet broadcast of court proceedings this Thursday. The RIAA claims that the re-runs "will be readily subject to editing and manipulation by any reasonably tech-savvy individual."

Sounds to me that they're more afraid of the results of the trial leading more people to stand up against their draconian legal tactics."
