I'm about to cancel spotify because they make it hard to find original songs. They present me with 'remastered' songs which often sound quite different to (worse than) the original. I presume they get some kind of financial benefit from this, or they would show originals first

If I search for "beatles let it be" I get 6 results all of which are 'remastered'. Most remastered results are not even 'official' remasters released by the band/label, but something done by spotify or by grifters

You are conflating very different issues. Yes, google should pay more tax in countries where their money is earned. No, google should not be forced to pay for merely linking to (vaguely defined) news, especially if they don't have the option of simply not linking. This is Murdoch getting a favour from the Australian party in power, who still think traditional media are worth paying off.

Actually the biggest export is iron ore (to China), and China needs that too much to try 'punishing' Australia by blocking or tariffing it. If COVID hadn't fucked Brazil China might have tried, but iron ore is pretty fungible, so Australia wouldn't much care.

That seems really young! Let them achieve basic reading, writing, and arithmetic first. Introduce them to basic concepts of coding at maybe 8 years old.

If the child shows interest and aptitude then let them continue, but please don't foist it on children with no interests or aptitude.
