PlayStation Network Expanding To Involve Other Devices 63

At CES, Sony's Kaz Hirai confirmed that the company will build out its PlayStation Network for use with other devices, such as televisions, Blu-ray players, and PCs. Quoting: "... the expansion starts next month with the availability of the PSN video store on these other devices, and Hirai explained they are constructing a mechanism to create a single user ID across the entire network (if you have a PSN account, it's good to go on any other applicable Sony device, and if you create one on another device, it'll work on PSN). And finally, Hirai also announced the formation of a new Sony division — called Sony Network Entertainment, Inc. — to drive this expansion of the PSN service into a Sony-wide network."

plants don't have any of those things apart from genatalia... i suppose if plants had brains, they'd probably have been a long standing law suit by plants against insects for sexual assult, but then the insects may have counter sued against the plants for indecency and public exposure.

maybe plant lawers died out because they couldn't pollinate? darwin for the win.

i've been/am in that same situation. no mortgage, always rented, no credit card, just a debit card on my current account, and always paid up front for everything. car paid in full, holidays the same. always saved for anything i've wanted thats been a bit above and beyond the norm, and got not only savings, but got a cash float in the bank for anything like car/bike maintainence, and unexpected emergencies.

in yet i cannot get a credit card. i cannot get a mortgage. and if i wanted a loan (which i have investigated) i'd have to go to one of those dodgy back alley places with 40%+ APR, or they'll start breaking limbs.

having had my credit report checked out, i'm high risk because i have no "credit" history.
my other half and i have recently bought a house together... but not in legal terms, as she could borrow more money from the bank if i wasn't listed in the mortgage, as i am considered a risk, and then in addition, my contribution could then be listed as "rental income" and the projected income from rent would be used to inflate the salary agaist which the loan amount would be based. so again more money.

it's twisted. but it works for us anyway...

i've recently got a credit card from crapital one as they'll lend to anyone, and watched my credit score go up. its been a year or so, but i'm now getting credit card offers from more reputable sources, so something must be working.

its a b1tch, but maybe i shouldn't have thrown away those credit card offers when i hit 18 in the dim and distant past...
