Japan restarts first reactor at world's largest nuclear plant

BeaverCleaver writes: The BBC reports that Unit 6 of the advanced boiling water plant at Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant has been restarted, the first reactor at this site to be restarted since the earthquake and tsunami that devastated the nuclear plant at Fukushima in March of 2011, triggering the shutdown of 44 nuclear power plants by the Japanese regulators.
