I know you may not believe in systemic racism because race is not a factor to non-African Americans. However if you actually listen to African Americans they tell you a different story. In fact it's across the board in the African American community rich and poor Conservative and Liberal. Even African Americans commentators on Fox News who disagree with the BLM movement agree that there is racism built into this country in ways non-Black and Brown folks can't appreciate. If they disagree with BLM they disagree on tactics and politics - not on the fact of racism particularly when it comes Criminal Justice.
Perhaps you should listen to some African Americans. Listen with some empathetic understanding. For Americans this is the red pill.

The high mantle of establishment foreign policy was to maintain or increase American power across the entire world. The world is a complicated and confusing space to operate a diplomatic mission with that goal. It's very difficult to know how keep unintended consequences from defeating your main goal (American power). Speeches and foreign power communication was tightly controlled, reviewed and vetted by experts. Remember all those people on the line with Trump and the Ukrainian prime minister during that infamous impeachment inducing phone call? That's them.
Until Trump there was a firewall of establishment foreign policy wonks who vetted and filtered diplomatic communication especially between sensitive trading partners/Competitors/potential enemies. Their higher echelons (Senior Advisors, Under Secretaries and such) are usually appointed by the sitting president. Until Trump all other presidents listened to them. This president appoints them and then never listens to what they say. Presumably because they're Deep State Experts. Trumps under educated base doesn't want experts. They have mistaken ignorance for wisdom.
I don't care so much if Trump is re-elected (I've hated the man since the 1980s). I care that people with expert knowledge (conservative or liberal) consider consequences of our actions and act appropriately to maintain American power, or at least manage it properly so as to avoid bloody outcomes.
