The only thing I watch on broadcast TV is Star Trek TOS while I'm eating dinner. Oh, and the Twilight Zone marathon they have every Fourth of July. I may have watched something else when I was sick once, like maybe Green Acres or Gomer Pyle, but I don't remember. I was feverish.

Presumably this spooked developers who were looking at the code before it officially shipped. Once a developer is spooked, can he really be unspooked?
I recently bought a new Android phone after shattering the screen on my otherwise perfectly good five-year-old Android. Of course the UI had been totally screwed up, mostly differences for the sake of difference but some things were manifestly worse.
For example, I spent the longest time looking for an "auto-rotate" setting, which has always been a toggle switch labelled "auto-rotate." Eventually I resorted to using the search function in the settings, and still didn't find it. And then I had to resort to a web search (ridiculous for such a simple thing).
The setting was labelled "portrait" which is why it never registered with me, since I was looking for "auto-rotate." I know what "portrait" means but it never occurred to me that it would have anything to do with "auto-rotate." Press it to turn off portrait mode, and THEN it says "auto-rotate." Fucking hell. I would happily murder the person responsible for this.
Doesn't matter, he'll lose it to AI soon.
