I thought that was what we'd get with Obama. He did show some of that, but I think he got forced to play the game as a result of the political climate, and he's just not that good at it.

And if they had supported Romney, then Romney would be the one spying now and I imagine you'd still be saying the same things about Californians. Likewise about McCain. Yet, you don't hold Texans responsible even though they voted for the guy that originally put the system into place (or at least these pieces of it).

What, and releases classified information to foreign entities? Regardless of whether you think what Snowden did (and continues to do) is good or bad, he is a traitor to the country.

Why can't it be equal to saying that 'we're against unauthorized intrusive spying on you're own citizens'? ... A critic of a part or it's government going rogue?

Oh, I see what you're doing. You're insinuating that this is all Obama's doing, as if this hasn't been the Government trend for many decades. It's funny that they've got you believing this is a difference between political parties.

Sure, but we haven't found nearby planets to explore which experience rain, mud and vegetation. Yet.

I'd just like to point out that not only do we treat it as a privilege, but we also treat it like a cash cow from every angle. There is a TON of money to be made in US healthcare right now, and it's kind of sickening. Medical devices manufacturers, Doctors, Lawyers, insurers, all of these people are taking the money out of the system at unbelievable rates and the only ones putting money into that system are us. Yes, these private companies should be able to make a reasonable profit, but this is ridiculous.

We also don't have retirement pensions, so there's really nothing to balance it out anyway.

When you have a heart attack, talk to me about your experience "shopping around" for the cheapest bypass surgery. What's that? You won't have time to shop around without dying? Oh. That's weird.
