I was thinking about writing a clear and informed response to that, then I thought some more and decided that it would be more even handed and appropriate to simply say: "fuck you, asshole"
Not that it matters because if you use that, they will re-install Windows 10.
They did it to my wife's PC 3 times.
I had to go to fairly great lengths to stop it from recurring.
Installed and deployed GWX Control Panel to stop it.
Tell me: Why would GWX Control Panel even exist if this problem did not happen?
1) They do NOT prompt you.
A week ago we woke up to find my Wife's PC running Windows 10.
2) If you remove it, they do it again, over and over.
3) The cure and solution is a good piece of software that is free and easy to use:

And, since this is an American legal matter, this is not any part of their business.
And, since China mainly wants the same thing as the U.S. government, they are against apple on this.
Voicing that could produce a backlash by some consumers, so they are better off keeping quiet on the subject.
In social matters, moreso than anything else, majority rules.
That is unfortunate for those who are not members of the majority.

All of them are technical, which is appropriate, as most readers here are geeks ( like me)
The real problem is some stupid bastards who will have to blow it up ( for the glory of Allah) or some other stupid bastards trying to hold it hostage.
Some serious money has to be set aside, in advance, for rewards for stopping saboteurs.
And probably one can justify the expense to the local mucky-mucks with job creation.
The only problem this project can really have is with the people trying to stop it for their own personal greed and creed.
I am sure we will hear about how it kills birds, or is a sin, etc.
The only worse place to attempt a project like this would be in the Southern USA.
But which state do you start with?
One could argue Massachusetts or South Carolina for 2 nearly polar opposites.
Perhaps that would be best, pick 3 or 4 different states as testbeds.
At least those of you in the USA can get HBO over your internet connection.
Up here in Canada we have no choice but our local cable providers or satellite TV, and typically a bill over $100 a month for TV with HBO
Not so much.
At the shortest day ( December 22nd) our sunrise is 8:48 a.m. and our sunset at 4:17 p.m.
I live in Edmonton, Alberta.
Around this time of year it is 8 a.m. before the sun thinks about rising.
The "Fall back" brings sunrise back to around 7.
Works for me!
