I certainly wouldn't want to try this tactic anywhere out west..

Nonsense! There are plenty of dirt (not gravel) roads here in Arizona, straight and amazingly smooth! I can get up to 80+ MPH on these roads, and why not, usually these roads don't come accompanied with speed limits nor highway patrol.

Granted, the weather is fairly predictable (sunny) and traffic is not very heavy on these roads... still, they are a pleasure to drive and I wish there were more of them!

Sedate Your Kids While They Play Screenshot-sm 264

If your child won't sit still at the dentist, the doctor, or the kitchen table, you need the PediSedate Helmet. The device consisting of a colorful headset that connects to a game component or a portable CD player. After a snorkel attachment goes into the child's mouth, the helmet will monitor respiratory function and distribute nitrous oxide or anesthetic gas. The company website states, "The child comfortably becomes sedated while playing with a Nintendo Game Boy system or listening to music. This dramatically improves the hospital or dental experience for the child, parents and healthcare providers."

SECONDED... Greece has more HOT women per capita than any other place I've ever been.

A buddy and I went for holiday there a few years ago. We got home and sorted through our photos that we had snapped in Greece, a good two thirds were pictures of various womens' backsides! Take that Greek Data Protection Authority!

Nevermind the Acropolis, Greek women are amazing! :D

Seriously, was this interview given to grade-school kids? "...jitter and freeze..." WTF is this guy talking about?

It's seems to me that if someone is going to be giving and interview regarding the Internet, they should probably know something about it first. Just a thought.

Comment Excellent Distro (Score 1) 96

I've previously been a big Mandriva fan having it installed on many machines over the years. It was "Mandrake" back in the day, now Mandriva. I've never been disappointed with the distro, never. It's solid and has always been a worthwhile install.

I have since converted over to Debian for my servers which I absolutely love. Then, just to keep my distro's somewhat similar, I started using Ubuntu (debian based distro) on my workstations. And so I've been using Ubuntu ever since.

It seems like everyone is running Ubuntu these days.. perhaps it's time to cut back to Mandriva, just for that very reason. I hope Mandriva continues to have success in the future, they do a lot for the Linux community at large and that's commendable.
