Just my opinion, but I don't think this is going to last through the downturn in the economy. You're already starting to see layoffs in the tech industry. When that happens, all of your "off-Friday", and remote work will be at the whim of the company as employees lose bargaining power.
It's the US that's obsessed with dominating the entire planet, not Russia or China. It even has a term for it: Full Spectrum Dominance. You have a thousand military bases around the world and spend more than the rest of the world combined on arms, so take your high horse to the nearest mirror.
