Did you mean walk into a local bar, if there is one, and then talk to every girl there until you find one that you liked but hopefully doesn't think you're a creep after watching you play the field. There's also the issue where you and The Love of your life might never hit the bar at the same time, unless you both spend most of your time there. Which gets to the point of why would she go to a bar to get picked up by someone who went there to pick up girls? If you use the right online services, you can increase your geographically presence from your local watering hole to a 20 mile radius, or greater. You don't have to worry about being in the same exact place at the same exact time. You can both filter for major likes and dislikes. You still have to talk to them, but now there's a greater chance that you'll both be talking with someone you really like.

That study seems suspect, maybe it was funded by the tobacco industry. ðY(TM) If it was true then the highest healthcare costs wouldn't be obesity/tobacco related. They would be dying too fast to create those numbers. But I agree that even if it was true, the objective should be to enable longer higher quality healthy lives.

They only care about cultivating the votes. They cherry pick information to pass to the masses to get them on their side then leverage their votes to gain power. They claim to care about healthcare but I don't see them putting too much energy into banning tobacco products which are costing $300 billion per year in healthcare costs. It's probably because they would get less voters if they did that.

Seriously? MS Windows has improved, but it took several decades to get where it is now and it still sucks. I remember when they didn't even support real tcp/ip, it was tcp/up over netbeui. Have you ever dealt with Oracle or db2 support? There are a lot of database competitors out there and if IBM and Oracle don't wake up, they'll be tier 2.

I'm not sure how the previous poster was modded up while you were modded down. I understood what you meant but they interpreted it as a physical only handicap while there are many on the autistic spectrum who are gifted coders but communicate poorly at times. Implying that it is their fault that they have this problem is unfair and reminds me of how bullies like to target people with weaknesses while rationalizing that it's okay, because their target is different from other people. Not all of the U.S. Is like this. There are people who claim they don't hire strong people with social weaknesses, but I suspect they are really just jealous of talented people, and pretending they have power over them is their way of acting out.

I get it, I do need to keep ergonomics in mind. But a full-size keyboard would not change that. My previous keyboard was Logitech k120, which I'm currently comparing to the hyperx. The main keyboard area is exactly the same size and spacing as the hyperx. It's only bigger when the numpad is included, and the number row is closer to the home row. To create the posture you described, I would have use one of the break apart keyboards, which may be the way to go.

It's good for gaming or work, it has a row of keys with numbers on it :) , and all of the other keys you would normally need, though I could remap if needed. The frame is minimized to keep the footprint down, and the mouse is now a lot closer to where I type.

It's fine to think whatever they want. But you can't tell others that they should think the same way. You can censor their speech, but then you are as bad as the monster you claimed them to be. There are those against you, there are those who didn't care, and those who agreed with you. Those who didn't care don't like being told what to think either, and now you forced them to be grouped with the ones who are against you?
