The average car is driven for about 20 years before it goes to the scrapheap. They might at some point adopt policies to accelerate that

That 2nd sentence is super important here. If people are really unconvinced that BEV is for them, the best they can do is drive their ICE cars for as long as possible. People need to look after their cars, get spares, drive like they care to avoid crashing.

Maybe there will be a huge order book for those selling the last cars of 2034, potentially with delivery in 2035 or later. In the same way the buyer of A 2011 LEAF was an early adopter, the should be some laggards all the way into the 2050s, duly paying their taxes in proportion to emissions.

Jeesus Christ. Did you read that link before you posted? Literal fake news.

Amongst all the other bullshit and scaremongering is the smoking gun. They say the gas-stoves-contribute-to-poor-quality-report is 9 paragraphs long. It's not. It's 34 PAGES

Check it out yourself

And none of this is new, or even slightly controversial information. Burning methane indoors reduces air quality. Duh. It is only news to some because up until recently, this was lost in the background of shitty air quality from everything else. Now our air is relatively clean, gas or no gas can make an actual difference.

So how about you fuck off to whatever little hole you came out of - either you're a useful idiot for those trying to ignite new & pointless culture wars, or a miserable fucking troll. Either way, Fuck. Right. Off.

There are effectively no true multi-fuel ICEs out there.

Renault /Dacia have some bi-fuel models. LPG and petrol.

LPG burns cleaner, so if legislators could be a bit smarter, LPG could be allowed on the road for the long term as a cheaper replacement for those use cases where BEV falls short.

News about Neom, the Line and recently the yacht marina place always attract the haters. it's like they never played Sim City but need to be distracted from the failure of the West to keep up with some sort of new urban development.

In Asia they build new cities, or knock down the old to make modern city centres, while we're stuck with medieval infrastructure, suburbia and high rent all around. Haters need to look closer to home.

You have to supply an adapter plug for all of the world's wall sockets in every single phone box? Bigger boxes!

Congratulations, that is the stupidest thing I have read all day, and I've just gotten out of an all day workshop with Test management, so that's saying something.

When Apple shipped their phones with chargers, they didn't include each power outlet type. Why would they have to now?

Beyond stupid.

Hate to break this to you, but when you reference something & include negative adjectives with your description, then your reference becomes a complaint.
