When you're talking about losing Seoul temporarily along with tens of thousands of US soldiers, you don't want to be playing what-ifs later on, especially if you could stop the flow of DPRK soldiers almost instantly with nuclear weapons.
And since Seoul is "right next to the DMZ", you'd have to drop those nukes right next to the city and the troops you're trying to save.
This plan appears to have a flaw that should be corrected before implementation.
Yeah, before Java showed up it was a happy place. They had flowery meadows and rainbow skies, and rivers made of chocolate, where the programmers danced and laughed and played with gumdrop smiles.
But back in reality, even "good programmers" are going to run into crunch time in the vast number of projects and that bodes purely for well written and *secure* applications.
Umm.. what I said, (I assume you don't read the whole thread, because, well, we're on Slashdot), is that they fired on the wounded and people trying to collect the wounded. If you go and watch the whole video you'll see that. There's no excuse for that, no matter who you think you're fighting.
I guess I do have more to say...
It makes less sense for American states, but a lot more for former British/Russian states.
You do realize of course that Massachussetts IS a former British state (well, colony), right? And that it's title as a Commonwealth dates from that time, right?
