If they write the website themselves, and have some sort of advertising for income then 2000 is fair. It doesn't have to be some big corporate conglomerate professional website. Sometimes doing things on a shoestring is a good way to start. Why burn a ton of cash if you don't get the people contributing the way you thought you would?

The job of a bank is to make money, as with any commercial entity :). Lending money, an screwing depositors is just how banks usually go about it, but sometimes they can foreclose on a well paid on property and jack up the legal fees to eat all the equity, so they do have other nice little streams of revenue :P

Why? Nobody laughs when someone pulls out a 1500 dollar macbook, when the 300 dollar acer will do everything that the macbook will do that 95 percent of the population would need.

Just picked up a note 2, and I'm pleased as punch with it. Sure it's ridiculously expensive, but so was my gaming pc, and I enjoy that too.

I also drive a beat up 10 year old vehicle that's been paid off for 8 years. I don't enjoy vehicles, it doesn't mean I laugh at people for driving nice ones.

Yea, but for some reason google eats my calls sometimes completely and they go to VM. I'd like to at least have a chance to answer the call reliably. I use GV for my business main number, and my cell phone number direct is seperate. I'll be sitting at my computer and the browser will start ringing, but it won't go through to the cell phone. Sometimes it goes right to GV voicemail without ringing the browser or the phone.

Just switched from sprint to ATT yesterday. Who gives a shit about unlimited data when it's so slow you could max it out for a week and not hit 1gb. I have to get customer calls, one missed call could mean losing a lot more than the measly 30 bucks more a month between our two phones.

It's because IOWA is a very important state in our electoral college, and primaries, and it's a state with a great climate for corn. Thus we have all these amazing laws passed to push corn as hard as possible, so now we end up with corn growing in states and areas that are best used for wheat production. We also end up with stupid laws like ethanol which is a net loss in energy product from what I've read when you factor in all the different energy it takes to get it to market, let alone the gigantic amounts of water.

Funny how environmentalists get all upset about fracking and water, then seem to ignore the devastation corn has on our water supply.

Pushing the land to make more wheat than what it should have been making was really the root cause of the dust bowl. Modern dust bowls have not been seen even during drought years because we have the ability to dump water from the aquifer on the land. Just plowing in different directions isn't going to be the end all be all cure to dust blowing if we have a drought without the aquifer like we had the last few years. In fact our current drought has seen even drier conditions than in the dust bowl. The difference really wasn't farming practices so much, because a great deal of farmers have abandoned drought tolerant practices, but the changing factor was irrigation. There was enough breakage in irrigation that the dust was caught in the next field over instead of 10 miles away.

With that being said I've seen 3 dirt storms this year, more than in the last 10, and in the Texas Panhandle from birth I've grown up seeing days where we have 100mph gusts. We are the wind belt of the U.S.

I know man, I don't want to get killed either, but just saying the guy that holds a joystick flying a drone bombing people isn't really that much better than someone shooting bullets other than he has air conditioning and a chair.
