They'll be going for anything that increases short-term profits and that will mean definitely no interoperability and maybe inline advertisements or something heinous like that.

That's all very interesting, but "extroversion", as contrasted with "introversion", was coined by Carl Jung over sixty years before the Big Five stuff even existed. Jung's concept of extroversion is what everybody is familiar with and is what people are referring to over 99% of the time that the term is used.

Here's a wiki link for you too.

Problem is an armed rent-a-cop turns up with a clear bias in favour of the customer. It's a recipe for disaster, for illegal behaviour, for harassment.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens when non-customers call the real cops. Or how they handle the first murder by one of their staff.

I think this could turn out better for the general public than calling actual police to the scene. Armed rent-a-cops don't have qualified immunity and will have to actually stand trial for flagrant abuse or murder of unarmed people.

Imagine if police themselves were actually held accountable for their actions like that!

If you haven't played any of it, you should definitely pick this up and play it. The gameplay and graphics get better as the series goes on, so maybe this version fixes the clunky gameplay of the first one.

You should play the third too. If I remember correctly (rose glasses?), the third was very good up until the actual end. I remember some pretty awesome scenes in the third, but the ending was atrocious.

Because the people at the top are happy with a feudalist society. Why wouldn't they be?

That seem to continue to this day in the form of undervaluing your privacy (and who knows what else) by selling yourself cheap to giant corporations in exchange for shiny baubles. There are all sorts of things that are too expensive to afford and you'd be just fine without the overwhelming majority of them if you weren't so fixated on consumer garbage.

"Translation" is the process of translating words from one language to another. "Add translation" is not where I'd look if I wanted to correct poorly auto-transcribed speech.

Or is this one of those "words mean exactly what I want them to mean" moments where we're all supposed to dumb ourselves down to the level of the Google devs and accept imprecise language because they don't know any better?
