Comment Johns Hopkins is in Maryland (Score 1) 22

The editors probably thought the readers knew this, but Johns Hopkins is in Maryland (I had to look it up; kind of Rutgers, you never hear about the place so I forgot where it was), so this was a coast-to-coast road trip. So...yea highways work as designed in 194x? Go tech. Zzzzzzz....

Given that the job transition for homeless generally isn't going to be to something that requires a degree or works with drugs, which is it?

As it should be. Weâ€(TM)re smart enough to tell truth from fact. If you want a better democracy, how about limiting the vote to people who are also smart enough to understand how the world works - e.g., adults with at least 5 years of working experience under their belts - so you donâ€(TM)t have to worry about cleaning up stories for the mouth breathers on social media.

I think it's safe to say that hardly anyone gives a flying squirrel about Spider-whatnot anymore. The Spiderman character jumped the shark (between dramatic death and super suit) in Avengers IW/E and the "Spiderverse" thing mined (successfully) the remaining fun in the core fanbase.

Now that the golden age of comic book movies has concluded (or will soon depending if you include Joker in that), how about putting a couple of these top brands on a shelf for a while and working on a couple of new, non-ensemble characters until the world's ready for the inevitable reboot?

"They work like any other router" - thanks, Karen.

Came here to say this. The fact that they are walking away from marketable collections suggests that something in CapOneâ€(TM)s CA customer acquisition, account maintenance or debt collection practices was about to get them sued and/or fined. By just wiping out the debt (which should largely benefit their poorer customers) they can bury their own skeletons and play for preemptive forgiveness in the court of public opinion.
