The misuse of the term Engineer should be ok, though no other industry recognized such misuse of the term?

The fact is, most programmers/developers are not Engineers at all, but just programmers and to a lesser level, assemblers/integrators of code parts.

So the only real issue here is whether or not the word "Engineer" is allowed to be misused.

So to all the software programmers and lessor, you need to stop your damn whining and egos trips and respect the label for which the term "Engineer" applies in other industries.

So the question is: What level of software development and integration would rightfully hold the title of "Engineer"?

How many software programmers are knowledgeable of how programming is done quite differently in the mission-critical industry of Aerospace vs non-critical consumer commercial buggy crap (in comparison)?

I bet most don't have any clue what real Software Engineering is!

The US government is using Social Media as a proxy to violate the First Amendment.

There are two ways they can do this.

1) by requesting (perhaps with a threat or in some sort of spying trade deal) that censorship take place on specific topics.

2) by government failure to support the Bill of Rights without biased corporate exception. No law or agreement that violates the spirit and intent of all law as defined by the Declaration of Independence, certainly covering the Bill of Rights, is legal.

To the point: anyone who replies to this comment agrees that they are now my slave and are as my slave required to study Law 101 to release themselves from my mastery over them.

On Facebook:
So Facebook, pick one!

Additionally, by law, the accused has a right to address their accuser. This is not so possible with the "Fact Checkers". I once tried to track one down only to find myself on some state politician's website.

Either the politician is directly acting as a fact checker, violating their oath in office or Facebook is not vetting the fact checkers' honesty.

So Facebook, pick one!

The idea of placing users posting lower on the Facebook feed is a form of censorship constraint, again in violation of the First Amendment. Such acts can only express the opinionated bias of the censors, or censor bots, nothing more.

So Facebook, which is it? Real people or AI bots?

NOTE: there is no violation with overposting, though it should be noted in such a matter as being equivalent to any comment but as by social media platform reply.

Additionally, there are of course some acts of aggression that can fall into a legal address, but this is for law to deal with, not social media to censor, though overposting may be appropriate to express intent to defuse the matter.

There is a much bigger picture of what is going on, at the world level. I suggest people look into the history of Ukraine and learn about it.

I'd also highly suggest people look into who all is a student/member of the UN WEF Klaus Schwabs young global leaders programs, the general one, and the more select program. Putin, Trudeau, Macron and plenty more are there as well as China's involvement in the WEF.

Now the Build Back Better UN origination term. Before you can build back better you have to destroy everything. Economically, note what is happening in the world stock markets.

Also worth noting is AI Chess and Go are child play, just games. The 90's Trillion Dollar Bet and the Big Short are proof there are those who do not care about what damage they cause others. Today AI is being used to game the stock markets for optimized transfer of unearned wealth feeding back into the AI gaming for greater influence. Of course, it needs cover excuses.

From an economic POV this has perhaps some validity. However, the base knowledge applied can produce a great deal more in benefits beyond energy, but also in such fields as medical equipment capable of healing beyond what we currently have.

Bob Lazar is called a conspiracy theorist in the hear-say and provably biased site of Wikipedia.. All such claims of this about him have been debunked. He is telling the truth.

On a related note, there are a lot of human technological advancements that have as well been suppressed and even classified as national security and for much the same reasons as having tech benefits that are not billable. One small, in comparison to many more, is Stanley Allen Meyer's water-fueled car. But what may not be so well known is others have achieved similar but they have also been suppressed.

The article seems to be specific regarding who is to be protected and as such, who is not protected by the proposed bill. But we know from such as Edward Snowden and others that trying to address issues from within, does not work. Bob Lazar is such an example of how they tried to disappear his real and proven employment at Area 51. Certainly, regardless of any such bill passing to protect such people, it will not stop such efforts to disconnect and claim such people were never employed.

on a semi-related note, The EFF finally won a lawsuit against the spy industry (notably NSA) for spying on ALL Americans. Did this Stop the Spy industry (or NSA) from doing this? NO, it Did not! Guess who plays above the law? President Eisenhower and Kennedy warned us about the Military-Industrial Complex (composed also of NGO weapon and technology manufacturers)
