Comment WTF? Your link is full of lies. (Score 1) 117

Jeesus Christ. Did you read that link before you posted? Literal fake news.

Amongst all the other bullshit and scaremongering is the smoking gun. They say the gas-stoves-contribute-to-poor-quality-report is 9 paragraphs long. It's not. It's 34 PAGES

Check it out yourself

And none of this is new, or even slightly controversial information. Burning methane indoors reduces air quality. Duh. It is only news to some because up until recently, this was lost in the background of shitty air quality from everything else. Now our air is relatively clean, gas or no gas can make an actual difference.

So how about you fuck off to whatever little hole you came out of - either you're a useful idiot for those trying to ignite new & pointless culture wars, or a miserable fucking troll. Either way, Fuck. Right. Off.

That's why they changed it from "Unidentified Flying Object" to "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena". The one I saw a half century ago was certainly not a space ship, unless Douglas Adams was right about scale, because it was smaller than a basketball. It was bright and fuzzy, rode next to my car for a couple of miles until I crossed a stream, when it zigged at 45 MPH at a right angle and followed the stream.

I wondered what it was for years before I learned about ball lightning, which is what it had to have been. My guess is ball lightning is a lot more common up there where the fighter jets play.

You have to supply an adapter plug for all of the world's wall sockets in every single phone box? Bigger boxes!

Congratulations, that is the stupidest thing I have read all day, and I've just gotten out of an all day workshop with Test management, so that's saying something.

When Apple shipped their phones with chargers, they didn't include each power outlet type. Why would they have to now?

Beyond stupid.

It strikes me that many men who want a 'traditional' marriage want subservience. And of course, what do they get? A fucking scammer. And they deserve it.

Paedophilia, an attraction to pre-pubescent children, is fairly rare. But once they are pubescent and capable of reproduction, humans are wired to desire them. Before modern medicine, it increased the chances of genes surviving by passing them on as early as possible.

Now we are civilized, we recognize that children engaging in the somewhat risky business of sex is not a good idea. Most countries require them to be in their mid teens at least before engaging in sex, and 18 before engaging in sex work like taking suggestive photos or having sex on camera.

So yes, it's completely normal to find humans under the age of 18 sexually attractive. It's just that we expect people to abide by the laws protecting them anyway, like we expect people to control all sorts of other urges they may have.

WRONG. Men who have sex with men are also more likely to kiss, fondle, finger etc multiple partners. At the very least we should reserve judgement until more evidence rolls in.
