Elon's move to try to make twitter a free speech platform was what our society needs.

Let's leave aside the question of whether or not this was Musk's real motive. There may be many things wrong with society, but surely nobody believes that the cure to whatever those manifest ills may be, is anybody being able to say whatever they like in 160 characters or fewer on the internet.

It's the kind of nonsense idea held by individuals whose most serious problem in their young lives has been how steep the flight of stairs down to their parent's basement is. People with real problems aren't sitting around thinking to themselves "If only I could attack trans people on Twitter, that would make everything better".

This is the awful irony of all the "abortion only permitted in the event that the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother" laws.

Literally every pregnancy has the potential to kill the mother, and/or the baby. Forcing a women to give birth, for any reason, is monstrous.

However also by cooking our food we often cooked off extra nutrients that our body wanted so we would need to collect more food

This is gloriously false. Spectacularly, and magnificently wrong. It is very well known that cooking food increases the amount of nutrition available to the body, and reduces the amount of energy needed to chew and digest it. It was this innovation that freed us from having to spend 50% of our time in the physical act of eating, unlike many other animals. And gave us enough energy and time to further develop our technologies into the planet-destroying species we have become.

This is so weird. You compost by putting piles of organic matter, er, in a pile. Then you wait. It takes about a year. The worms come all by themselves if you do it outside, on the ground. You don't need anything else at all.

I suppose there might exist some kind of barren wasteland wherein earthworms are all but extinct - but I don't live in a place like that.

I find it quite fascinating that you believe that the existence of a cross-dressing character in an extremely mediocre and badly-written TV show was "political". That demonstrates your personal biases very clearly indeed. "Another Life" was absolutely awful, in every single respect. The writing, the story, the pacing, everything. But getting upset about a character preferring to wear clothes that have traditionally been associated with a different gender says much more about you, than it does about the show. I watched most of that show, because I'm a sucker for anything in space, and I didn't even notice a cross-dressing character. I'm taking your word for it that there was one, but was that really the thing about that show that annoyed you?

It's a backwards world view when we notice that nearly every tv show now tries to insert at least one gay/lesbian cast member and at least one black cast member in every show?

Why don't you give us some concrete examples of this? Since we're talking about Netflix, let's hear about all these gay people that aren't "blending in". You know, specific shows that you find so awfully offensive because they've got gay people in them that you feel don't belong?
