The United Downs project looks like the most promising one, apart from a tiny project in Southhampton that seems to use a source of geothermally heated water to directly heat some buildings.
I can't find anything that says United Downs is actually producing any electricity yet, but they seem to have drilled the holes down to more than 5 KMs which is pretty impressive.

I'm not sure how you'd go about doing geothermal power in the UK. It's an extremely old landmass with no active volcanism. Presumably you'd need to drill down several 10's of kilometres which I'm thinking might be hard.

I'm happy to see stories like these. It's a device I might be interested in buying if they'd sell them outside the EU.

There is a very basic image editor called Pix on Mint, which is fine for basic crops and touchups but if I want to do anything really in depth there's GIMP.
GIMP is still awful by the way.
