You surprise me. Have you actually MEASURED your typing speed, or do you just FEEL swype is faster? I found it quite trivial to equal the Swype "world record" on my BB Torch keyboard on my first try, and to quite easily beat it after 3 or 4 tries. Turns out the small-print on the swype record is "for a touchscreen" and it's not hard to beat on a real keyboard.

In BGP terms, this is a little bit like putting your DNS servers in 10.x.x.x space. It's a bit of an odd thing to do.

Particle and antiparticle created right next to the event horizon. Almost by definition, they have opposite velocity. Particle falls in, antiparticle escapes, OR vice-versa. Escaped antiparticle meets escaped particle, annihilate each other, give off energy in the form of radiation (Hawking radiation).

... so hawking radiation comes from just outside the EH, but requires the symmetry of the opposite particles falling in, so you could argue it comes from right ON the EH, but not inside it.

I used to love the way the kids can trip over the power cable without yanking the laptop on the floor and smashing the power connector... ... and I quite like the trackpad thing, you quickly learn all the 2- and 3-finger swipes and zooms and things and miss them when you're on a lesser trackpad. ... but I hate the way I've got through 3 power supplies and had a battery start expanding in alarming ways.
