Just because it's hard doesn't mean that web hosting platforms shouldn't invest in the future. Sometimes external pressures are necessary to get everyone to invest at the same time, when some/most are holding back to avoid spending money (affecting prices) if it's not happening industry-wide.

Is Christianity a more authoritarian relignion than others? That's a pretty huge group, with many different actual churches within it. Considering the abuse of religious power in other countries, perhaps AH et al just go for the dominant religion in that country/area and subvert it to their aims. Excessive religious authority itself is, I believe, the problem, not one particular religion.

Not voting doesn't tell the parties Why you didn't vote, any message you are trying to send gets lost in the void. Also not voting Against the currently elected person or likely winner means they essentially get half of your vote.

Instead vote for the candidate most like what you want, and then go backwards. Or submit a blank ballot but make sure you email each candidate a nicely worded letter (so they can't justify ignoring it because of profanity) explaining why they didn't earn your vote. Without some kind of guidance as to where the voters want to go, parties just listen to the loudest voices (the donors)

Not tipping works fine in countries where its the norm. Many US restaurants are going back to tipping, however they were likely the exceptions to the rule in their area, and without the industry at large following their example it wasn't sustainable for them. Suggesting that its only tipping that makes people do a better job implies a lack of experience with restaurantss in any of the other western nations that don't tip, but still have excellent customer service. At least one study has shown the better service only weakly correlates with bigger tips https://infosurv.com/does-tipp...

Increasing Family Planning options and and neonatal healthcare to poor countries reliably reduce birth rates, while maintaining the number of people reaching adulthood. Thus the number of people working to support their parents/the tax base is generally steady, while costs and impacts for infant mortality (like higher mortality amongst women during birth) go down.
