They simultaneously get to be the good guy who is always giving people tax breaks while hamstringing the administration that comes after them so they can't enact the policies they want. The responsible people that come after them have to spend most of their time cleaning up the mess and then by the time things are getting back to working the Republicans get back into control, take credit for things going well and then break them again.

It's easy to be the person who doesn't want the place they work at to be effective. Imagine a company where half the board of directors and managers want the company to go out of business. It shows you just how good government is when it can function at all like this.

Really missing the forest for the trees there. Bush did far better in 2004 than his barely getting in the first time with help from the Supreme Court. While it was by no means a large electoral college victory, the margins in most of the swing states he won were comfortable. Florida wasn't close. Bush even got 44% in California compared to Trump being in the 30s. Before Trump, he was the most hated Republican president and yet still did better the second time around.

Even George W Bush handily won reelection after invading the wrong country. You have to fail pretty hard to not win with the power of the incumbency behind you. And Trump was running basically against a potato who hardly campaigned at all after spending his entire presidency campaigning for reelection. It's just a spectacular failure.

It's not so much ego as that in his mind admitting you are wrong is weakness. Appearing to be weak is the worst possible thing. Worse than killing people through your actions and inaction. The only possible course of action when one is wrong is to attack. Attacking is strong.

Yes, almost certainly not. When the Access Hollywood tape came out and some Republicans said they didn't care about something he said 20 years ago I said 20 years ago he was 50. We aren't talking about something he said in high school. This is who he is.

As far as him going to the hospital, I think that's a calculated move rather than a necessity. He did walk in there on his own power. If he were to have to be moved to the hospital in a couple days there would be no way to hide how serious the situation is. This way it's much easier to lie. He's just staying for a couple extra days out of precaution. The doctors are having a hard time keeping him in bed. He wants to run around and do jumping jacks. They'd restrain him to the bed if he wasn't the president. They've never seen anyone respond so well to the treatment before.

I think they moved him to the hospital now because if he stayed at the WH but then got worse and had to go to the hospital in a few days there is no hiding that. If he goes right away and then maybe he stays a few days longer than expected they can lie about how serious it is.

That he gets sick enough to have this be a transformative experience for him and he becomes a nicer person.

That his youngest kid still has a father.

That his getting sick saves other people's lives.

If you're talking about editing them on someone else's video through community contributions, that was something the video uploader has to enable and well there's not much point in learning how to do it now but you would click on the 3 dots under the video and then Add Translations. Where upon it will take you to a page where it will likely tell you the ability to add translations isn't enabled for this video.
