Speed of light and vacuum of space means we can capture an optical laser signal aimed at earth.

The capacity of that laser doesn’t weaken in space so some quality of the packet scheme must be failing over distance since the earlier data rate validated reception quality at the receiving point or the transmitter power has fluctuated

Imagine the Lucky Bastards getting to write off every penny of their loss on EVs, between gov’t subsidy, credits, financial handouts and creative accounting its all write–off

Smucks like Joe have to eat the mortgage, ahem car payment, take the drop in depreciation, pay insanely expensive connection fees, charging equipment, installation and tie-in just to “cheaply” recharge his EV at home. Joe has eaten his last EV sucker-bill and finds himself using ride-share, public transit or 15yo ICE he thought was too expensive.

Meanwhile, EV automakers are flying around in private jets, lobbying capitol hill for relief and laying off Joe Schmoe and halting production. EV car makers get ur head out of the cookie jar and start R&D, coops, innovation centers and engineer a car that Joe doesn’t lose his home, happy family, job and sanity with your VERY EXPENSIVE replacement for ICE

Senators, legislators and NEXT president of US freeze NTSA regulations that prevent SxS EVs from being licensed for non-interstate use. The world cannot afford legacy ICE regulatory mandates. AI is enabling safer cars without the crash-safety cushion requirements. Stop the insanity and get mobility as job#1 back into the mainstream of the economy

States, Montana and Florida thank you for licensing SxS. Your fellow states can legalize and follow your lead. There’s a pathway but its putting to rest a ton of bureaucracy, regulatory capture and Federal mandates that too long catered to the ICE money machine

Early Adopter Joes’ need relief here too. The bottom was pulled out from under their EV investments. There’s gotta be a way back, a pathway, for those burdened with a product over-priced, under engineered and foisted on consumers who had no idea of the extensive electrical hurdles to charging at home affordably.

And that’s the First Step

San Diegan’s are still waiting. While politicians, commissioners, state and generators hide behind their Strawman arguments, the whining is deafening as their rates keep ratcheting-up.

Solar installed, based on saves and paybacks at the time, have been gutted by change after change in rulings, rates and fee restructure.

Californian's need to direct State representatives to re-cast a solar-forward electricity policy going forward. The goal of which is distributed solar power generation, augmented by wind purchased out of state and incorporates private-public actors to facilitate a stable grid system. Massive battery storage farms, Tesla-style Autobidder rate management and fixed-fee generator contracts should guarantee investor ROI

Solar and battery technologies are destined to become cheaper and cheaper due to mass adoption while wind, hydro, thermal and nuke remain relatively high cost corner-case solutions. Californians are surfers. Failure to catch this third wave of technology destines them to rate-slavery by regulatory capture.

Before solar energy Californians made a sport out of seeing who could go longest without turning on their furnaces. Typically, doubling their energy bills. This seems to be a way of life for State, generators and politicians going forward

BUT Volla has set a low bar for a nice spec tablet for use as a browser-centric device

That’s sufficient for anything pulled up online and packaged in handsome OS

The toys that come along with this thing and integration with Volla phone are key

Tablets will pad Volla userbase at the precise moment iDevices are un-vogue

It will be a first foot in door to the GOOG/AAPL duopoly, serving edge and corner markets

Long term its a bet to place. Volla will have its design, supply and distribution lines built

Either GOOG or AAPL get hands slapped by FTC, Volla are in a good position to score

MacOS X is a hungry operating system. It needs memory to run. The more in-memory, the faster. Apple M-chip levels up communication with basically a monolithic memory map where all data are 1st order communicators. This enabled Apple to do away with traffic, cache and memory management overhead.

IF MacOS X use is used for browser-centric tasks AND you aren’t tiling 20 windows across your tab bar then 8gig might be comfortable. For sure AAPL are selling you memory and the heavy users of memory intensive apps know this already. They might not need as much as they think. M-chip has changed memory utilization, traffic loads and freed up cycles once dedicated to overhead- now are freed.

Short of copyright emerging, Apple’s AppStore deal for distribution, hosting and pass-thru upgrades for 30% should not last forever

In early iPhone days it was viewed as iPod content by Apple with more value because of Apple API integration, testing And upgrade support written for third party developers. iPhone scale, success and those Apple upgrades enriched Apple and developer alike. But the sheer amount of treasury AppStore brings in yearly exceeds many magnitudes Apple cost, reasonable profit and incentive to improve its product.
