Way to tell the world you don't understand modern farming without saying it. Guessing you have never tried to plant 24 rows...wait, I meant 36...wait I actually meant 48 rows at a time without GPS. Attempting to plant such large swaths without GPS is all but useless because there is no way you can look out and tell if your tractor is correct based upon the last pass. Then we can also talk about how important those planting records are when it comes to both insurance as well as analysis when you also bring in your harvesting records.

If everyone could please understand just what is being proposed, it would make the conversation better. They are simply talking about adding the ability to use C++ in the kernel versus actually replacing all the code....big difference. Basically it is the same as the Rust addition where new items can be written in Rust.

Time for some education here I guess. Yes, capitalism allows companies to fail which is fine because that simply allows the market to see the weak players as to avoid them. Broadcomm will eventually kill all of VMWare products which is fine because that allows better players to pick up where Broadcomm dropped the ball. I say this as someone who is getting screwed by Broadcomm's poor decisions because I make heavy use of Workstation which is a great product. It performs better than VirtualBox in my setup, but I guess I will eventually moving to VirtualBox unless a better player comes along.

Uhm...you apparently are missing the key point here for which you even alluded to but missed. The Act you reference was actually passed by Congress (he who has the purse strings), but Biden unilaterally writing a check (he who does not own the purse strings) that can't be cashed. Please re-read the U.S. Constitution and under that one of the key themes throughout the document is the separation of powers. Nowhere does the ruling say the debit couldn't be wiped clean, it simply says the Executive branch does not have power to do so. The majority of the justices were ignoring previous rulings, they were simply following the Constitution which is their job.

I know exactly what communism is, and it is nothing like socialism. It is a system devoid of understanding the human condition when it comes to setting a system of rule. If you are a half-full person, communism is simply a gateway drug to authoritarian rule because it gives too few people too much control over others. Or, you can be half-empty and see where communism is simply a tool to get ordinary people to follow people who dream of authoritarian rule. In either case, communism is not to be followed. All examples in history lead to the same path: destruction.

By your logic, we should have stayed out of WWII and let Germany and Japan take of large tracks of the globe. Heck, we could go back further and stayed out of WWI and again let Germany take over Europe.

Tell you what, we will agree to not be involved in your little shit-show of a communist turned authoritarian regime as long as you promise to not ask for handouts from other authoritarian regimes because you destroyed your country. History is littered with examples of authoritarian regimes simply destroying countries and taking their population with them.
