Toyota was relying on taxpayers to build H2 stations. In California, taxpayers did build a few but the basic problem is that H2 fuel is 5 to 10 times as expensive per mile as electric fuel. Toyota for a while did give buyers "free fuel" for a year to hide the cost of the fuel but that is over now and people are stuck with these cars where fuel is expensive and not readily available.

OK. You are officially dense.
If you look at the graph again carefully, you will see that it gives figures for each quarter.
If you want to see the difference between winter and summer (which you seem to think is important) you will see that there is some variation between winter and summer quarters. The quarters vary between 5 and 6 million miles between accidents on FSD.
I know this might be hard for you since you don't seem to want to believe these actual facts (versus your opinion).

Yes, we have been sold a diet of unhealthy food. Our "free enterprise" system has no effective controls on unhealthy food. But that is only part of the problem. Don't blame people for problems that corporations cause.

Our "best" medical system is only available to the rich. Everyone else suffers and that's why we have the worst health indicators of "rich" countries.

(Actually, Medicare is great! It controls costs and gives eligible people good access to care. Unfortunately, it is branded as "socialized medicine"by Republicans who are trying to kill it. I am old and have Medicare. I recently had a health "episode". Greedy hospital billed me $200,154. Medicare said no way and paid them $38,000. I didn't pay anything beyond my monthly insurance cost. We need Medicare for everybody.)

Seems like Bloomberg has a math problem... or perhaps an agenda against EVs when they estimate 2x or 3x times that (or 6x for a really scary number).
Also, no mention of the reduction in fuel costs. (EVs cost about 75% less to fuel and have much lower maintenance costs)

In the name of "free enterprise" the US has created the most corrupt medical industry in the world.
We have the lowest health indicators of the 20 most "developed" countries while spending two to three times as much on medical care which doesn't even cover all of our population.
The medical industry is getting rich and we are all paying the price in $ and poor health. Insurance companies, pharma, hospitals, doctors, medical device makers are all making huge profits at our expense.

I thought you could figure this out from the graph in the link but since you couldn't, I'll explain.
Look at the bar graph for Teslas using FSD. It's 5 to 6 million miles before an accident.
Look at the bar graph (just below) for Teslas not using FSD. It's about one million miles before an accident.
So, self driving cars are about 5 times as safe as non-self driving cars.
These are all Teslas so all of your arguments about winter, new versus old, etc. are just stupid.

The current version is Tesla FSD is a much better driver than most people.
We need to come to terms with the fact that self driving cars are (or will be) better drivers than most people on the road who are easily distracted, don't stay between the lines, drive drunk, don't do a full stop at stop signs and run into the car in front of them.
Yesterday I drove 70 miles on a combination of local roads, secondary highways and divided highway using Tesla FSD. The performed flawlessly. It stopped at signs and lights, and was always exactly between the lines. Performed right and left turns safely into traffic. Kept proper following distance and followed the speed limits exactly. It was much better than my driving.
Driver assistance systems already have a better safety record than most drivers.
How much better do they need to get?
