Waymo has produced several videos over the years without safety drivers but actual driverless operations have been very minimal and never photographed in the wild. It appears per their annoucement earlier this month driverless rides really are ramping up in the Chandler, AZ area. Tech Crunch got one of the first driverless rides as a journalist.
