ACI Learning Computer Support Specialist Program Date: Jun 19 2025
Summary: I had a decent experience and learned a lot, the program was quick and worthwhile in my opinion. When I was there, the partnerships they had with employers were kind of bottom of the barrel compared to a lot of other employers with open positions, but it can't be perfect.
Positive: The courses are taught by working professionals with real world knowledge and tips, you also get to download the presentations and a lot of the study material. I still have a lot of it on my computer at home.
Negative: Some teachers are better than others so sometimes it's luck of the draw, and some of their rules during lessons are unnecessary but they don't get too in the way.

If you're considering a specific course or track (like Security+ or SOC Analyst), I can review it for you or compare it to other platforms like Coursera, Udemy, or TryHackMe. Just let me know!Positive: Very good videos and very good instructors who knows the subject matter very well. Certification-Focused Training, Hands-On Labs and Practice
Negative: Not focused on developer or AI/ML content

Great Learning Platform Date: Jun 19 2025
Summary: Overall, my experience with ACI Learning has been positive. The platform offers a strong range of certification-focused courses and practical labs that helped reinforce key IT and cybersecurity concepts. While the user interface could be more modern and a few courses felt somewhat dated, the flexibility and real-world applicability of the content outweighed those issues. Though slightly on the pricier side, I found the value worth it for the depth of learning and career relevance.
Positive: ACI Learning offers several compelling advantages. It provides industry-recognized certifications and hands-on labs that prepare learners for real-world IT, cybersecurity, and audit roles. Additionally, its flexible learning options: such as on-demand videos and instructor-led training which can support both beginners and professionals looking to upskill at their own pace.
Negative: While ACI Learning offers solid certification prep and flexible training formats, I found the platform’s interface a bit clunky and not as intuitive as I’d hoped. Some of the course material also felt slightly outdated or lacking in depth compared to other providers. Additionally, the pricing may be a stretch for solo learners without employer reimbursement.

Great but not updated regularly Date: Jun 18 2025
Summary: Got what I wanted, passed a few exams using this site. Wish it was updated more often. Support wasn't in the know.
Positive: The information I obtained from the site is very useful and makes the needed material easy to understand.
Negative: The material isn't updated regularly. My example is CompTIA's Pentest+ course on ITProTv. It is still, as of this review, on the 002 version of the test, which has just recently been retired. Support refused to give me a timeframe for an update.

Wonderful Content Date: Jun 17 2025
Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed ACI learning and plan to pick them back up when it’s time to study for my next certification.
Positive: The speakers spoke to each other instead of lecturing you, it seemed. This conversational learning was captivating and made focusing on the material a lot easier.
Negative: Some content was irrelevant to the material being tested.

Customer since ITPro TV Date: Jun 16 2025
Summary: If you are aiming about obtaining certifications from top vendors and upskilling, good. But you are trying to master the subject, I would go somewhere else.
Positive: Have training and labs for all the popular certifications out there, even the ones that you might not be able to find in other training providers.
Negative: Cost is too much compared to TryHackMe, HackTheBox, etc... if you are in cybersecurity field. The labs need to more of CTF based than walkthrough. You cannot even get a CEU credit to extend your certificates.

Negative: Purchasing individual courses can get expensive especially when trying to cover multiple departments and topics.

Huge data horde of certification study material, but Date: Jun 20 2025
Summary: The content although very well thought out did not feel to be tailored toward the actual data and drug on and on.
For the CISSP, I was told it had current ISC2 study material, and it does not, there are some, but mostly it was 2024 and older data from ISC2 and I guess the main thing is the information presented was from a different perspective than the official study guide and other resources.
Overall I did not keep my subscription but one month, when purchased I thought I'd get through this one and come back in after that and go into other certification materials to start knocking various ones I wanted to get from a single source, and honestly after seeing some of this I do not really trust the information, as if I would be studying something that might or might not be contrary to what the test will be asking and didn't want to fill my brain with potentially misaligned information.Positive: Tons and tons of content, nearly every certification you can think of has content here to study.
Also you get practice tests here that for me contained thousands of possible questions. HoweverNegative: The practice tests are not the real questions, or anything like them, and they are worded differently than other providers who actually matched up a lot more, for example CISSP. The official study guide has a ton of questions and the wording of those match other training cert providers and the ones here are just different, and some of the content I had to question because the answers to the question did not make much sense and many do not have explanations, and some not thorough enough to prove the choice.

The FLASH cards - are not anything like I have seen before. Mainly the layout so you get one side of the flash card where you have to type in exact text of the answer to what the other side insinuates. To me flash cards by definition always have data on front and back and are designed to make fast easy flip through Flash like study to "refresh" your memory not test your memory and make you waste a lot of time typing in possible answers and if you mispell something its wrong and wasting more time. I ended up going through maybe 10 at most of the flash cards on different certification platforms and all were the same.. not worth the time to spend on. -

Was better when it was ITPro TV Edited: Jun 19 2025
Summary: I have been a member for several years. It was a good platform when it was ITPro TV, but ACI Learning is not keeping it relevant. Where as the competitors are releasing new courses regularly, I haven't seen any new content released since it was acquired. Maybe they are "re-tooling" after the acquisition. Time will tell if is worth renewing when my current subscription is up.
Positive: A wide selection of courses in various area and vendors with included practice exams and labs. Includes certification courses as well as general knowledge.
Negative: Doesn't seem to be updated with new courses and content since it was bought by ACI Learning.

A very missed feature of the old ITPro TV platform was the forums, where you could interact with other students and the edutainers (instructors) to ask questions and discuss topics. When I logged in one day and found them missing, I contacted support, who had no idea what I was talking about. -

3 year customer Date: Jun 19 2025
Summary: I use to love ITProTV, they constantly came out with new material and even had a podcast. I don't think I will renewing my membership if I dont see any new content and features come out.
Positive: It is a great resource if studying for a certification. I like that it includes not only videos, but also labs and practice exams.
Negative: Most of the content is getting outdated, and there does not seem to be any new content coming out. The newest course is the CCNA, which was release just before the ACI take over and firings of the "edutainers". Price is not cheap for it to remain static, since the IT world evolves too frequent.

Average Date: Jun 19 2025
Summary: We signed up as it was switching over from ITProTV to ACI and I feel like it's worse than when we signed up. That being said I think most of that is them being in a transition period and it will all be tightened up. There's tons of quality content in there, just hope that the overall experience cleans up.
Positive: Lots of content brought over from ITProTV.
Support is always friendly, quick and helpful.
Pricing was on par with other providers.Negative: The newer layout is kind of messy.
