    Very Good API documentation for HIPAA Fax.

    Summary: WestFax did a great job helping us with a pretty complex migration away from RightFax. Their pricing was less than half and there were no crazy terms and maintenance contracts. All thumbs up from a very large fax user. These guys know their stuff!

    Positive: Super easy to integrate. They have live staff in the US to help users integrate. The service is also HIPAA Compliant which is awesome.

    Negative: We didn't have any problems at all. I'll update if we experience any.

    Good Service for small medical practice.

    Summary: We signed up for a free trial where they gave us a temporary fax number. We tested the service with a few doctors that could never get a fax to come through to us with our previous fax provider. The WestFax service worked for a 72 page medical record and was insanely clear.

    Positive: Ease of use. Easy to port our number. Nice people to work with. Clear faxes with no fuzzy images. HIPAA Compliant.

    Negative: Nothing we didn't like about the service. Works great.

    Great for Android tablet use!

    Summary: The service works perfectly. I had our providers download the Android app on their phones so we could send patient records to their smartphones and they love the interface. We had another service that was not HIPAA compliant so it's a relief to know our records are now safe on the WestFax network.

    Positive: We use tablets in our medical practice for patient intake and medical charting. The WestFax Android App works seamlessly with the desktop interface to send and receive patient records via fax. It's so easy to use.

    Negative: I had a Windows problem on my desktop I had to resolve before the desktop portal would work on our old IE browser. Our fault, not theirs.

    Great HIPAA Compliant Fax Service.

    Summary: It's so nice to find a company that you appreciate doing business with. From the web portal to the personal service they offer we couldn't be happier with our experience. Because we're a medical office we needed HIPAA Compliance. The WestFax team knew exactly how to handle this and sent us a BAA to sign.

    Positive: The WestFax user portal works great to send and receive medical records and we can even use the Android App if our doctors are not in the office. You can actually call them and speak to a US based human to help with questions. Kristen did a great job walking us through the set-up process. We started with a free trial account, then ported our fax number to WestFax. The porting process was smooth without any glitches.

    Negative: I really can't think of anything. The WestFax team was really great to work with.

    API easy to deploy! Best Fax API platform

    Summary: I had to write a tool to automatically download faxes as they show up. It was easy to setup an app that checks the api every 5 minutes and downloads the the fax file to a local folder. I had some trouble with Base64 format but I figured that out on my end. Works like a charm.

    Positive: Great documentation and code samples. I needed code for Python and C# and was able to get some code from the autodocs and an SDK.

    Negative: More code samples and snippets. The stuff on the site was good but I am lazy and want to code less ;)

    Summary: I like using the Fax to Email the most. Super easy to send a fax. I have never lost a fax or had a fax fail to go through. Consistency is king for me. The Faxtools are pretty awesome too. Love the autoprint functionality!

    Positive: I switched from efax a few years ago and never looked back. I love that I can call up and get a real person and not put in a queue to get the most basic of support. I also love how fast my faxes send and I get all my faxes in my inbox which makes it very easy to manage. Love FaxTools too!

    Summary: Overall, it works very well and is extraordinarily easy to set up and use. They seem to understand the healthcare space & HIPAA extremely well and were able to check all of the boxes for privacy & security.

    Positive: Very simple, reliable, easy to use. Very affordable. For situations where security/privacy are critical, WestFax has strong measures in place (e.g. fully HIPAA compliant). Also has an API for integrating it to apps.

    Summary: Fax provides more security and compliance than email, it’s our preferred document delivery method. This is a cloud based solution that we can rely on.

    WestFax API For the Win!

    Summary: Easy to setup the API for our outbound fax process. We spent a few weeks with another solution which ultimately was not HIPAA compliant and failed half the time.

    We got the solution up and running in 2 days straight. Way faster than other ones.

    Cumbersome, does not 'auto add' Contacts, cannot re-send fax if it fails

    Summary: Very archaic and difficult to use. You cannot easily add contracts, move faxes to folders, etc. I am not happy with our decision to go with WestFax.

    Positive: Inexpensive and easy to set up. I have nothing else positive to say.

    It is inexpensive and it is easy to set up.

    Negative: If a fax fails, you cannot re-send; must build new.
    It does not ask you to add a Contact automatically.
    It is difficult to move faxes to other folders
    Your view of faxes you send or receive lists numbers only rather than Contact name so you waste a lot of time peeking through multiple faxes to go back to one you previously want.
    Thus far, Customer Service has not had any answers we need. A person answers, does not identify themself then seems to be fumbling around same as me.
