Summary: I use Vonage for my business and recommend it to other clients, but only in select cases where the callflow needs of the client aren't likely to change frequently. If you're a call center or are adding different lines of service to your business, you're better off selecting a company with good customer service who can help you to understand your options.
Most people think they know what they need from a phone system - and they're right. For these individuals and small businesses, Vonage offers a quality network that is incredibly easy to customize and expand to meet your needs. You are able to purchase new lines, custom numbers, integrations, etc. all from a the Management portal. More important, though, is the design that makes it clear what you're buying. The interface is slick and made for the everyday person (not an technical wizard). It puts other phone management systems to shame. I really can't say enough about how good it is.
The call quality of Vonage is excellent on excellent connections, but it does not do terribly well in places where the internet (or WiFi) signal is unreliable or spotty. The clarity of a call in your home office will likely be fantastic, but a call placed or answered using the app on your phone that relies on your cellular data while traveling can be choppy. My clients primarily reside in densely populated areas, so this isn't much of an issue. However, I want to impart on you that the choppiness is worse than other phone system.
In my Pros, I listed that the Voice quality is crisp - and it is. The call quality is different from the Voice quality. As far as Voice quality, I've not found a better system. When the connection is good, the voice quality is crystal clear. You can easily make out the words of people who frequently mumble.
Vonage's system, for all its brilliance, is seemingly designed to be a nightmare for customer service. You can't do simple things like remove features from lines using the otherwise brilliantly designed management interface. You have to contact Customer Service for that. Not only is that simply ridiculous, it's made worse because Vonage's Customer Service just isn't good. They aren't particularly friendly, knowledgeable, or fast. Just hope that you never have a problem with your phone system. In the one case I did, it was faster to replace the entire system for a client with a new service provider than to get Vonage to acknowledge the problem.Positive: Excellent, aggressive pricing

Summary: As long as you have a fast high speed internet access, the sounds and the connection are good...but it's more expensive compare to its competitors.
Positive: Fast setup, features like mobile app and desktop access to the system and receive incoming & outgoing calls.
Negative: It's pricy compared to the competition but the service is good.

Summary: I like using Vonage for my organization, but am evaluating other platforms for cost-effectiveness. I have also had some complaints from team members that the app doesn't always work, and that certain features are hit-and-miss.
Positive: Vonage allows one administrator at my organization to manage our communications effectively. I can assign phone lines, create calling trees, manage voicemail, and even send texts from my Vonage app.
Negative: It seems expensive to add users who wish to use a physical phone instead of the app. Customer support wait times are long because of the platform's popularity.
